Getting there

From the Yap International Airport, exit the terminal and head west towards the main road. Follow the road for about 1 km until you reach the village of Colonia. This is the main town area where you can find hotels, shops, and dining options. Look for signs pointing to your desired destination within Colonia.

Bicycle

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Colonia. Start from the central square and head towards the coast. Follow the coastal road to explore the beautiful beaches like Biyang Do and Tamilyog. Be cautious of pedestrians and other cyclists as you navigate the roads.

Boat

To visit nearby islands such as Ngulu or Woleai, head to the Colonia dock. You will find local boat operators who can take you on a day trip. Make sure to negotiate the price and confirm the return trip schedule with the boat operator before setting off.

Hiking
