If you are traveling by car, start your journey on Highway 61, which runs along the North Shore of Lake Superior. From Duluth, head south on I-35 and take the exit for Highway 53. Continue on Highway 53 until you reach the junction with Highway 2. Merge onto Highway 2 and follow the signs to Superior. Once in Superior, take the exit for E County Rd B. Follow E County Rd B for approximately 10 miles, and you will arrive at Big Manitou Falls, which is located on the left. Parking is available nearby.

For those relying on public transportation, take the Duluth Transit Authority (DTA) Bus Route 5 from downtown Duluth to the Superior area. Once you reach the last stop in Superior, you will need to arrange for a taxi or ride-sharing service to get to Big Manitou Falls, as public transport does not go directly to the falls. Expect the taxi ride to take about 20-30 minutes and cost approximately $25-35. Make sure to check the DTA schedule beforehand to plan your trip accordingly.
