After about 8 minutes, get off at the Franklin Avenue station. From there, exit the station and head east on Franklin Avenue. Walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach 3rd Avenue S. Turn left onto 3rd Avenue S, and you'll find Hennepin History Museum at 2303 3rd Ave S, just a short walk ahead.

From the downtown area, you can take the Metro Transit bus route 21 from Washington Avenue. Board the bus heading towards 38th St & Cedar Ave. After about 15 minutes, get off at the stop at 3rd Avenue S and 23rd Street. Walk a short distance north on 3rd Avenue S, and the Hennepin History Museum will be on your right at 2303 3rd Ave S.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the numerous bike-sharing stations in downtown Minneapolis. Head south on Nicollet Avenue, then take a left onto 26th Street E. Continue on 26th Street until you hit 3rd Avenue S. Turn right onto 3rd Avenue S, and after a few blocks, the Hennepin History Museum will be on your left at 2303 3rd Ave S.
