To reach Paul B Johnson State Park from downtown Hattiesburg, start by heading to the nearest bus stop located at the intersection of Main Street and Pine Street. Take the Hattiesburg Transit bus route that heads towards the west. You will need to transfer at the Hattiesburg Station to the bus route heading towards Geiger Lake. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop closest to Geiger Lake Road. From there, walk approximately 0.5 miles down Geiger Lake Road until you reach the entrance of Paul B Johnson State Park at 319 Geiger Lake Rd.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a nearby rental shop in Hattiesburg. Start your journey by heading west on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Highway 49. Turn left onto Highway 49 and continue biking for about 2 miles. Turn right onto Geiger Lake Road. Continue on Geiger Lake Road for approximately 1 mile, and you will find the entrance to Paul B Johnson State Park at 319 Geiger Lake Rd. Remember to wear a helmet and follow all traffic rules.
