If you are starting from the center of downtown Starkville, walk east on Main Street towards the intersection with the Highway 12. Continue for about 0.5 miles until you reach the traffic light at the intersection with Highway 12. At the intersection, cross to the south side of Highway 12. Once across, continue walking east on the sidewalk along Highway 12. After about 0.3 miles, you will see State Shopping Center on your left, just past the intersection of Highway 12 and South Montgomery Street.
