    From the Biloxi Transit Center, take the Route 33 bus towards East Biloxi. Get off at the stop nearest to 2244 Beach Blvd, close to Oak St. Walk east along Beach Blvd for about 5 minutes; Beauvoir will be on your left, across from the beach. The bus fare is $1 - $4.

Beauvoir, a National Historic Landmark, offers a unique glimpse into the life of Jefferson Davis, the only President of the Confederate States of America. Nestled on 52 acres along the Mississippi Gulf Coast in Biloxi, the estate provides a rich historical experience. The centerpiece is the Beauvoir mansion, a stunning example of Southern antebellum architecture, meticulously restored to its 1889 condition, reflecting the period when Davis resided there. Visitors can tour the home, exploring the rooms filled with original furnishings, personal items, and exhibits that narrate Davis's life and his impact on American history. Beyond the mansion, the estate features the Jefferson Davis Presidential Library and Museum, housing Davis's personal library and papers, along with exhibits and a theater.
