If you are traveling by car, the easiest way to reach the Mississippi Sandhill Crane National Wildlife Refuge Admin Building is to use a GPS device or mapping application with the address: 7200 Crane Ln, Gautier, MS 39553. From the center of The North Central Hills, head south on Highway 49 towards Hattiesburg. Once you reach Hattiesburg, merge onto I-10 East towards Mobile. Continue on I-10 for approximately 60 miles and take exit 61 for Gautier. Follow the signs to Gautier and turn onto Gautier-Vancleave Rd. Continue straight, then turn left onto Crane Lane. The Admin Building will be on your left. Ensure you have a full tank of gas as there may be limited services along the route.
