From the main parking area at Johnson's Shut-Ins State Park, head northwest towards the entrance of the park. Follow the signs for the Mina Sauk Falls Trailhead. If you are in the park and prefer to drive, exit the park and head west on Highway 21. Continue for about 3 miles until you reach the junction with Highway 72. Turn left onto Highway 72 and follow it for approximately 13 miles until you reach the town of Ironton. From Ironton, take Highway 21 south for about 5 miles. Look for the signs for the Mina Sauk Falls Trailhead on the right. There is a small parking area available at the trailhead.
