Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start on the nearest major highway in Northwest Missouri, such as US-71 or I-70, and head towards St. Louis, MO. Depending on your starting point, you may need to navigate using various state highways. Once you are approaching St. Louis, take I-64 E towards downtown St. Louis. Continue on I-64 E, then take exit 38A for I-170 N towards University City. Stay on I-170 N for about 3 miles and take exit 1A to merge onto I-70 E toward Chicago. Continue for about 6 miles, then take exit 39C to merge onto I-64 E toward Memphis. After about 3 miles, take exit 36B to merge onto I-270 N. Continue on I-270 N for about 5 miles and take exit 6B to merge onto US-61 S toward St. Charles. Follow US-61 S and then take the exit toward St. Louis County. Finally, follow signs for Stoneywood Dr, and you will reach Emmenegger Nature Park at 11991 Stoneywood Dr, St. Louis, MO 63122.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, start by taking a Greyhound or Megabus to St. Louis. Once you arrive at the bus station, you can take the MetroLink light rail system. Board the Red Line towards the North Hanley station and get off at the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 station. From there, you can take a local bus (MetroBus Route 100) which will take you closer to Emmenegger Nature Park. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of your trip, as the frequency may vary. The bus will drop you off at a stop near Stoneywood Dr, where you can walk the remaining distance to the park.
