Bollinger Mill State Historic Site offers a captivating look into 19th-century life in rural Missouri. The mill stands as a testament to the area's agricultural heritage, showcasing how water power was used to grind grain into flour and meal. Adjacent to the mill is the Burfordville Covered Bridge, a 140-foot-long structure that spans the Whitewater River. Completed in 1868, it is the oldest of Missouri's four remaining covered bridges.
