Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the main entrance of Purcari Winery. Head northeast on Strada Purcari and continue for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see a sign for Tumulus 1 Purcari on your right. Turn onto a small road that leads to the site. There is no entrance fee for visiting Tumulus 1.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a local bus from Purcari Winery to the nearby village of Stefan Voda. The bus usually departs every hour and costs approximately 10 MDL. Once you arrive in Stefan Voda, you can take a taxi to Tumulus 1 Purcari, which should cost around 50 MDL. Ensure you tell the driver your destination clearly. The travel time by taxi is about 10-15 minutes.
