Getting There

  • Car

    From Cap d'Ail Beach, take Avenue du 11 Novembre and head east towards the A8 highway. Merge onto the A8 in the direction of Antibes. Take exit 44 toward Antibes/Antibes-Centre and keep left to continue onto Route de Nice/D35. Follow the signs for Antibes and continue onto Quai Nord Port Vauban. The Sentier du Fort Carré will be accessible from this location. Parking is available nearby, but there may be a cost associated with it.

    From Cap d'Ail Beach, walk to the nearest bus stop (usually located near the beach area) and take Bus Line 100 towards Nice. Get off at the Antibes stop. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk to Quai Nord Port Vauban. Head southeast on Avenue Robert Soleau and continue straight until you reach the port. The Sentier du Fort Carré is located along the Quai Nord. Ensure you have a valid bus ticket, which costs approximately €1.50.

    If you prefer to walk from Cap d'Ail Beach, head east along the coastal path towards the Monaco border, then take Avenue de la République towards Avenue du 11 Novembre.
