    From the Monaco-Monte Carlo train station, walk south on Avenue de la Gare, then turn left onto Avenue du Port. Continue along the port, then ascend the Rampe Major, a historic pedestrian ramp leading directly to Place du Palais. This is a steady uphill walk of approximately 15-20 minutes. Free access.
