    Start your journey from Lake Khövsgöl by heading south on the main road (A-1) towards Murun. After approximately 70 km, you'll reach Murun, the capital of Khövsgöl Province. At Murun, take the exit onto the A-2 road towards Arkhangai. Continue on this road for about 290 km. You will pass through beautiful landscapes and small towns. Keep an eye out for road signs indicating Ugii Lake as you approach Arkhangai. Once you reach the region of Arkhangai, follow the local signs for Ugii Lake, which is approximately 30 km from the main highway. The drive may take around 5-6 hours depending on traffic and road conditions.

    From Lake Khövsgöl, you can take a minibus (known as a 'furgon') to Murun. The ride will take about 2-3 hours and cost approximately 10,000 MNT. Once in Murun, find a minibus heading to Arkhangai. The journey to Arkhangai will take around 5-6 hours and cost approximately 20,000 MNT. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they will drop you off near Ugii Lake, as some may only stop in the town center. If needed, you can hire a taxi from Arkhangai to Ugii Lake for around 30,000-50,000 MNT.
