Getting There

    From Bozeman, Montana, take I-90 W for about 20 miles. Take exit 298 for US-191 S toward West Yellowstone. Continue on US-191 S for approximately 30 miles until you reach the turnoff for Cascade Creek Road (also known as Forest Road 120). Turn left onto Cascade Creek Road. Follow Cascade Creek Road for about 5 miles until you reach the Lava Lake Trailhead parking area, located at 501-901 Cascade Creek Rd, Gallatin Gateway, MT 59730. Be aware that there may be a parking fee.
