From the Visitor Center, head east on the main road (US Route 89) for about 1 mile. Look for the sign indicating the Saint Mary Falls Trailhead on your right. There is a well-marked trail that leads directly to the falls, which is approximately a 0.6-mile hike one way. The trail is relatively easy, but be sure to wear sturdy shoes and carry water. If you are using public transportation, check if the park's shuttle service is available during your visit. You can take the park shuttle to the St. Mary area.
