Car
From Whitefish Mountain Resort, head south on Big Mountain Road towards Whitefish. Turn right onto US-93 S and continue for about 6 miles. Then merge onto I-90 W towards Spokane. After approximately 25 miles, take exit 130 for MT-2 W towards Kalispell. Follow MT-2 W for about 25 miles until you reach West Glacier, MT. The Apgar Visitor Center will be on your left as you enter Glacier National Park.

Public Transportation
To reach Apgar Visitor Center via public transportation, start by taking a local bus from Whitefish Mountain Resort to Whitefish. From Whitefish, board the Flathead Valley Community College Shuttle or another local bus heading towards West Glacier. This shuttle operates seasonally, so check the schedule in advance. Once you arrive in West Glacier, the Apgar Visitor Center is within walking distance. Follow signs towards the visitor center, which is located just inside the park entrance.

Once you arrive, park your car in one of the designated parking areas in West Glacier. From there, take the Glacier National Park Shuttle Service, which operates during the summer months.
