Getting There

• Public Transport

  From Kotor, head to the main bus station located near the Old Town. You can walk there in about 10 minutes from the city center. Once at the bus station, look for a bus heading to Cetinje. Buses to Cetinje run frequently, so check the schedule displayed at the station or ask the ticket counter for the next departure. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Upon arrival in Cetinje, follow the signs to Lovćen National Park, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus station. Look for the road signs indicating 'Lovćen'.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Kotor to Lovćen National Park. Taxis are available throughout Kotor, particularly near the Old Town. The ride will take around 30 minutes. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your trip or request that the driver use the meter. Upon arrival at the park entrance, you can begin your explorations.

• Walking

  For a more adventurous route, you can hike from Kotor to Lovćen National Park, although this is a challenging option that requires good fitness. Start by heading out of Kotor and following the signs towards the mountain trails leading to Cetinje. The hike will take several hours, so ensure you have plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear. Once you reach the park, you can explore its natural beauty.
