Walking
If you are starting from the Old Town of Kotor, head towards the main square, Trg od Oružja. From there, exit the Old Town through the Sea Gate (Gradska vrata) and walk straight along the waterfront promenade (Obala). After approximately 500 meters, you will reach the intersection with Ulica 1 (the street leading to the monastery). Turn left onto Ulica 1 and continue walking uphill. The Ruins of St. Nicholas Monastery will be located along this road after about 1 kilometer. Look for signs indicating the monastery as you approach.

If you find yourself near the Kotor Bus Station, exit the station and head north towards the main road, which is part of E65. Walk along the side of the road for about 800 meters until you reach the intersection with Ulica 1. Turn right onto Ulica 1 and continue walking uphill for about 1 kilometer. The Ruins of St. Nicholas Monastery will be on your left side, clearly marked.

From the Kotor Fortress (San Giovanni), exit the fortress and descend towards the Old Town. Once you are back on the main street, walk straight towards the waterfront and follow the directions towards the Sea Gate. After passing through the Sea Gate, continue walking along the waterfront promenade and follow the initial instructions to turn left onto Ulica 1. Walk uphill for approximately 1 kilometer to reach the Ruins of St. Nicholas Monastery.
