Getting There

Walking
Start from the Old Town of Kotor, located near the waterfront. Head east towards the main road (M1), which is the main route out of Kotor. Continue walking towards the direction of the Kotor Fortress (San Giovanni). After about 15 minutes, you will reach the roundabout. Take the second exit towards the M1 road. Keep walking straight, following the signs towards 'Bar'. After approximately 30 minutes of walking, you will enter the town of Stari Bar. Once in Stari Bar, look for the historical center where you will find the Stari Bar attraction.

From the Kotor Bus Station, which is located just outside the Old Town, buy a ticket for a bus to Bar. Buses run frequently, approximately every hour. The journey takes around 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Bar Bus Station, exit the bus and follow the signs to the historical center of Stari Bar, which is about a 15-minute walk. You will pass through a few local shops and cafes before reaching the attraction.
