Bus
From the center of Podgorica, head to the main bus station, located at the intersection of Bokeška and Trg Republike. You can reach the station by walking or taking a local bus to the stop 'Autobuska Stanica'. Once at the bus station, look for a bus heading to the direction of Nikšić, as Pobori is a small village along this route. Make sure to inform the driver or the ticket seller that you want to stop at Pobori. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. After you arrive at Pobori, the monastery is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Head northeast on the main road until you see signs for Manastir Stanjevići.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Podgorica. You can book a taxi via a local app or call a taxi company. Ask the driver to take you to Manastir Stanjevići in Pobori. The ride will take about 30 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare before you start your journey or ask for a meter to be used.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and want to experience more of the local scenery, you can walk to Pobori from Podgorica. Start by heading northwest toward the river Morača and cross the bridge. Continue straight along the road until you reach the outskirts of the city. Follow the road signs towards Pobori. This walk might take several hours, so ensure you have enough time and bring water. It’s about 12 kilometers away, so it's recommended only for those who are fit and enjoy long walks.
