Getting There

• Bus

  From Podgorica, head to the main bus station located at Bulevar Džordža Vašingtona. You can take a taxi or walk if you're nearby. At the bus station, purchase a ticket to Kotor. Buses to Kotor operate frequently, and the journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at the Kotor bus station, exit the station and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the Old Town. Look for the entrance to the Old Town, and once inside, follow the signs to Saint Tryphon's Cathedral, located in the main square.

• Train

  While there are no direct trains to Kotor, you can take a train from Podgorica to Bar. From Bar, you can catch a bus to Kotor. Head to the Podgorica train station located on Bulevar Revolucije. Purchase a ticket to Bar and board the train. The train journey takes about 1 hour. Once in Bar, go to the bus station next to the train station and buy a ticket to Kotor. The bus ride from Bar to Kotor takes around 1 hour. Upon arriving in Kotor, head towards the Old Town and follow the signs to Saint Tryphon's Cathedral.

• Walking

  If you are already in Kotor, the best way to get to Saint Tryphon's Cathedral is by walking. From anywhere within the Old Town, head towards the main square (Trg Sv. Tripuna) where the cathedral is located. Look for the tall bell tower; the cathedral is adjacent to it. It's a short walk and well-signposted, making it easy to find.

• Taxi

  If you're in Podgorica and prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi to Kotor. Taxis are available throughout the city. The journey will take approximately 1.5 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Kotor, ask the driver to drop you off at the Old Town area. From there, follow the signs to Saint Tryphon's Cathedral, which is located in the main square.
