Getting There

    If you are starting from the main square, Plaza Uta el-Hammam, head northwest on Rue Ahmed Boukhaled towards Rue Al Hassan. Continue straight for about 200 meters until you reach the intersection with Rue Zaouia. Turn left onto Rue Zaouia and walk for another 300 meters until you arrive at the main road, Avenue Mohamed V. Cross the avenue and continue straight. You will then see signs directing you to Bab El Onsar. Walk for another 400 meters until you reach the site located at 5PCR+7XV, which will be on your left.

    From the Kasbah Museum, exit and turn left onto Rue de la Kasbah. Walk straight for about 150 meters until you reach the intersection with Avenue Mohammed V. Turn right and head down the avenue. Continue for approximately 600 meters, passing by various shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing to Bab El Onsar. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will find the historical landmark at 5PCR+7XV on your right.

    If you are at the Chefchaouen Medina, start at the entrance of the Medina and walk towards the main square, Plaza Uta el-Hammam. From there, follow Rue Ahmed Boukhaled northwest for about 200 meters. Continue straight until you hit Avenue Mohamed V. Cross the avenue and turn left. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will see the location of Bab El Onsar at 5PCR+7XV on your left, just before you reach the outskirts of the town.
