Getting there

Walking

From the center of Chefchaouen, start at the Plaza Uta el-Hammam. Head east on Rue Hassan I towards the Kasbah. Continue straight until you reach the main road (Rte d'Akchour). Turn right and walk along this road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs pointing towards the Waterfalls Akchour. Follow these signs and continue on the path for another 30 minutes until you reach the waterfalls.

Taxi

You can take a taxi from the center of Chefchaouen to Akchour. Head to the taxi station located near Plaza Uta el-Hammam. Inform the taxi driver that you want to go to Waterfalls Akchour (Shluh Akchour). The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive, you may need to walk a short distance to get to the waterfall area.

Shared Taxi

Look for shared taxis (also known as 'grand taxis') at the taxi station in Chefchaouen. You can share the ride with other passengers heading to Akchour. The fare is usually lower than a private taxi. Once you reach Akchour, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Waterfalls Akchour, which is about a 20-minute walk from the drop-off point.
