Walking
From the main square in Chefchaouen, known as Plaza Uta el-Hammam, head north towards the Kasbah. As you walk, admire the blue-painted buildings that line the streets. Continue straight until you reach the intersection near the Ras El Maa waterfall. At the intersection, turn right onto Rue Hassan I. Follow this road for about 10 minutes until you see a sign for Bab Chaouen. The entrance to Bab Chaouen is marked clearly, and you will find it on your left.
Public Transport
If you prefer to take a taxi, head to the taxi stand located near Plaza Uta el-Hammam. Look for a petit taxi (small taxi) that can take you to Bab Chaouen. Tell the driver 'Bab Chaouen' and confirm the fare before getting in. The taxi ride will take approximately 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off right at the entrance of Bab Chaouen.
