• Car

  From Essaouira city center, head southwest on Avenue Mohammed V towards Avenue de l'Indépendance. Continue straight onto Route de Marrakech (N1) for approximately 10 km. Look for signs indicating 'Plage Assafi' and turn left onto the smaller road leading to the beach. Follow this road for about 2 km until you reach the beach parking area. There may be a small fee for parking, typically around 10 MAD.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Plage Assafi by public transport, take a local bus from Essaouira’s main bus station. Look for buses heading towards the coastal areas or specifically mentioning 'Plage Assafi'. The fare is usually around 5-10 MAD. The journey takes about 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the bus stop near Plage Assafi, it is a short walk to the beach.

• Taxi

  You can also opt for a taxi, which can be hailed from anywhere in Essaouira. Agree on a fare before starting, which will typically be around 50-100 MAD for a one-way trip to Plage Assafi. The drive will take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Taxis can drop you off directly at the entrance to the beach.
