If you are in the medina of Essaouira, start by walking towards the main square, Place Moulay Hassan. From there, head southwest towards the ramparts and walk along the coast to the south. You can follow the coastline until you reach the main road, Route d'Essaouira, which leads out of town. Once on Route d'Essaouira, you will need to walk approximately 20 kilometers towards Ounagha. Be sure to hydrate and take breaks as needed, as this is a long walk.

To reach Afous Argan from Essaouira, you can take a local bus from the main bus station, Gare Routière Essaouira. Look for a bus heading towards Ounagha or Agadir. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Ounagha, disembark at the bus stop and walk approximately 5 minutes towards the northwest along Route d'Essaouira until you reach Afous Argan on your left.

Taxi
You can take a shared taxi (also known as a 'grand taxi') from Essaouira to Ounagha. Head to the grand taxi stand, which is usually near the bus station. Shared taxis operate on a fixed route and will drop you off in Ounagha. The ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive, walk about 5 minutes northwest along Route d'Essaouira, and you will find Afous Argan on your left-hand side.
