Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Essaouira Medina, head towards the main square, Place Moulay Hassan. From there, exit the square and walk towards the west along Avenue Mohammed Zerktouni. Continue straight, passing local shops and cafes, until you reach the ramparts near the coast. You will see the entrance to Bab Sbaa on your left. It’s a short walk, approximately 15-20 minutes.

    For those staying near the Essaouira Beach, start at the beach promenade and walk towards the Medina. As you enter the Medina, keep walking straight until you reach Place Moulay Hassan. From the square, follow the same direction as mentioned before, heading along Avenue Mohammed Zerktouni towards Bab Sbaa. This route should also take about 15-20 minutes.
