Experience Badi Palace

Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the Jemaa el-Fnaa square, head southeast towards the Koutoubia Mosque. Walk past the mosque and continue down Rue de la Koutoubia. Once you reach the end of the street, you will come to the intersection with Avenue Mohammed VI. Cross the street and continue straight into the Mechouar-Kasbah neighborhood. Follow the signs for Badi Palace, which should be about a 15-minute walk from the mosque.

    If you are currently near the Saadian Tombs, exit the site and turn left onto Rue de la Kasbah. Walk along this road until you hit Rue Ksibat Nhass. Turn right, and the Badi Palace will be on your right after a short walk. This route should take approximately 10 minutes.

    From the Marrakech Museum, head south on Rue de la Bahia towards the Kasbah area. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer, and when you reach the junction with Avenue Mohammed VI, turn left. Walk straight until you see signs for Badi Palace, which will be a short distance ahead. This walk should take around 20 minutes.

    If you are at the Royal Palace, simply walk out of the palace grounds and head towards the main gate. Turn left onto Rue des Consuls and follow it as it curves left into Rue des Joutia. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Rue Ksibat Nhass, turn right, and the Badi Palace will be ahead on your left. This route takes about 15 minutes.
