Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Jemaa el-Fnaa, the main square in Marrakech, head towards the northeast. Exit the square and walk straight along the Rue de la Koutoubia. Continue until you reach the intersection with Rue Riad Zitoun el Jdid. Turn left onto Rue Riad Zitoun el Jdid and continue walking. You will see the entrance to Bahia Palace on your right after about 10 minutes of walking. The palace is located at the end of this street.

    From the Koutoubia Mosque, exit the mosque complex and walk towards the Rue de la Koutoubia. Head east and turn right onto Rue Riad Zitoun el Jdid. Follow this road straight for about 15 minutes, and you will reach Bahia Palace, which will be on your left-hand side. Keep an eye out for the large entrance gate.

    If you are near the Mellah (the Jewish quarter of Marrakech), exit the Mellah and head towards Avenue Imam Malek. Walk north until you reach Rue Riad Zitoun el Jdid. Turn right and walk straight down Rue Riad Zitoun el Jdid for approximately 10 minutes. Bahia Palace will be located on your right side, marked by its grand entrance.

    For those coming from the Saadian Tombs, exit the tombs and turn left onto Avenue de la République. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Rue Riad Zitoun el Jdid. Turn left and walk down Rue Riad Zitoun el Jdid for about 10 minutes. Bahia Palace will be on your right.
