Experience Royal Palace

Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Jemaa el-Fnaa, head towards the north side of the square. Exit the square and take Rue des Banques, which is the street leading you towards the Koutoubia Mosque. You will see the mosque's minaret ahead. Walk along this street until you reach the mosque. From there, take the right at the mosque onto Avenue Mohammed VI. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Rue Sidi Abdelaziz. Turn left onto Rue Sidi Abdelaziz, and you will soon see the entrance to the Royal Palace on your right. Look for the large gates and beautiful architecture.

  • Walking

    If you are at the Saadian Tombs, exit the tombs and turn left onto Rue de la Kasbah. Walk straight until you reach the main road, then take a right onto Avenue Mohammed VI. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you see the Koutoubia Mosque on your left. From there, follow the previous directions from the Koutoubia Mosque to reach the Royal Palace.

    Starting from the Marrakech Museum, exit the museum and turn left onto Rue de la Bahia. Walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Avenue Mohammed VI. Cross over to the other side of the avenue and continue straight until you see the Koutoubia Mosque. Follow the directions from the mosque to the Royal Palace as mentioned earlier.

    If you are at the Mellah, the Jewish Quarter, exit onto Rue de la Mellah and head towards Avenue Mohammed VI. Turn left and walk until you reach the Koutoubia Mosque. From there, follow the directions provided earlier to get to the Royal Palace.
