Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the Jemaa el-Fnaa square, head towards the Koutoubia Mosque, which is the large mosque visible from the square. As you approach the mosque, take a left onto Rue de la Koutoubia, then continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue Sidi Abdel Aziz. Take a right onto Rue Sidi Abdel Aziz, and follow it for about 300 meters. You will see the entrance to the Souk MARKET on your left. Look for signs indicating the market areas.

    From the Marrakech Museum, exit the museum and turn left onto Rue de la Bahia. Continue straight for about 200 meters until you reach the intersection with Rue Sidi Abdel Aziz. Take a right and follow Rue Sidi Abdel Aziz for about 400 meters. The Souk MARKET will be on your left side, just past the entrance to the main market area.

    If you are near the Jardin Majorelle, exit the garden and head south on Rue Yves Saint Laurent until you reach Rue de la Koutoubia. Turn left on Rue de la Koutoubia and continue towards Jemaa el-Fnaa. Once at the square, follow the directions to the Koutoubia Mosque, then take a left onto Rue de la Koutoubia and a right onto Rue Sidi Abdel Aziz. The Souk MARKET will be on your left after a short walk.

    Starting from the Royal Palace, exit the palace grounds and head north towards Rue de la Kasbah. Turn left onto Rue de la Kasbah and walk until you reach the intersection with Rue Sidi Abdel Aziz. Turn right onto Rue Sidi Abdel Aziz and continue walking. The Souk MARKET will be on your left side after about 500 meters, near the center of the Medina.
