If you are in Jemaa el-Fnaa, the main square in the Medina, start by heading towards the souks (markets) which are located to the northwest of the square. As you enter the souk area, look for the signs pointing towards the Tanneries. Follow the winding paths through the souks, and keep an eye out for the 'Dar el-Bagh' sign. After about 15-20 minutes of walking through the vibrant market stalls, you will reach Dar el-Bagh, where the Tanneries are located. The Tanneries are just a short walk from the entrance of the souks.

From Jemaa el-Fnaa, you can take a local bus or a petit taxi (small shared taxi) to the Tanneries. If you choose the bus, look for bus lines heading towards 'Medina' and get off at the nearest stop to the Tanneries. This will generally take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. If you opt for a petit taxi, simply tell the driver 'Dar el-Bagh' or 'Tanneries', and they will take you directly there. The taxi ride should take approximately 10 minutes.
