Getting There

• Bus

  From Marrakech city center, head to the main bus station, which is called 'Gare Routière' located near the Medina. You can take a taxi or a local bus to reach the bus station if needed. Once at the Gare Routière, look for the buses heading towards the Ourika Valley. There are several companies operating this route, and the journey takes about 1 hour. The bus will drop you off at the village of Ourika, which is the main entry point to the valley. Ensure to confirm with the bus driver that you are going to Ourika Valley.

• Shared Taxi (Grand Taxi)

  From any location in Marrakech, you can take a shared taxi (known as a Grand Taxi) to Ourika Valley. Head to the Grand Taxi station located near the 'Gare Routière' or in the vicinity of the Medina. Look for taxis going to Ourika; they usually wait until they are filled with passengers before departing. The shared taxi ride will take approximately 45 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic. The taxi will drop you off in the village of Ourika, where you can begin your exploration of the valley.

• Tour Operator (Guided Tour)

  For a more organized experience, consider booking a guided tour from one of the many tour operators in Marrakech. You can find these operators in the Medina or online. The tours typically include transportation, a guide, and sometimes meals. They will pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech and take you directly to Vallée de l'OURIKA, providing insights and stopping at various sights along the way.
