If you are in the central area of Meknes, start at the Place El Hedim. From the square, head southwest towards the Rue d'Agadir. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenue Mohamed VI. Turn left onto Avenue Mohamed VI. Walk for about 10 minutes; you'll pass local shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the Medina walls on your right. As you approach the Medina, look for signs directing you to the Madrasa Bou Inania. Once you reach the entrance of the Medina, you will find the Madrasa about 5 minutes further along on your right.
Public Transport
From the train station in Meknes, board a local bus heading towards the Medina. The bus will take you directly to the entrance of the Medina, which is approximately a 15-minute ride. Once you disembark, walk towards the center of the Medina. Look for signs that indicate the direction of the Madrasa Bou Inania; it should take you about 10 minutes to walk there from the bus stop. The Madrasa will be on your right side as you walk through the bustling market streets.
Taxi
If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a petit taxi. Locate a taxi stand near your current location or hail one from the street. Inform the driver that you're going to the Madrasa Bou Inania. The ride should take around 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. The taxi will drop you off near the entrance to the Medina; from there, you will have to walk a short distance. Follow the signs towards the Madrasa Bou Inania, which should take no more than 5 minutes on foot.
