If you're starting from the central square of Meknes, Place el-Hedim, head northwest towards the large gate known as Bab Mansour. As you walk, you'll pass by various shops and cafes. Once you reach Bab Mansour, take a moment to admire its impressive architecture. From Bab Mansour, exit through the gate and walk straight for about 300 meters until you reach the first major intersection. Turn left onto Rue de la Liberté, a bustling street lined with local vendors. Continue walking along Rue de la Liberté for approximately 500 meters, and you will see signs pointing towards Bab Berdieyinne. Follow the signs until you reach the entrance, which is located at WC2J+CM8.
Public Transport
From the train station in Meknes, take a local bus heading towards the Medina. The bus stop is right outside the station. Once on the bus, ask the driver to let you off at the stop for Bab Mansour. After disembarking, follow the same directions as above: head northwest towards Bab Mansour, then continue straight for about 300 meters to the intersection, turn left onto Rue de la Liberté, and follow the signs for Bab Berdieyinne.
Taxi
If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a petit taxi from anywhere in Meknes. Just tell the driver 'Bab Berdieyinne' or 'near Bab Mansour' if you're unsure. The taxi will drop you off at Bab Mansour. From there, follow the directions provided earlier: exit through Bab Mansour, walk straight for 300 meters, turn left onto Rue de la Liberté, and follow the signs to Bab Berdieyinne.
