If you are starting from the central area of Meknes, head towards Place El Hedim. From the square, walk towards the Bab Mansour gate, which is also a popular landmark. Once you reach Bab Mansour, continue straight on Avenue de la République. After about 500 meters, take a left onto Rue de la Liberté. Continue walking for another 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Rue des Merinides. Turn right here. After about 200 meters, you will see Le portail de Moulay Ismaïl باب مولاي إسماعيل on your left. Look for the distinctive architecture and the large gates.

If you prefer to use public transport, find the nearest bus stop and catch a local bus that heads towards the city center. Most buses will stop near Place El Hedim. Once you get off, follow the same directions as above: walk towards Bab Mansour, continue on Avenue de la République, turn left onto Rue de la Liberté, then right onto Rue des Merinides until you reach Le portail de Moulay Ismaïl باب مولاي إسماعيل.
