Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Meknes train station, exit the station and head south onto Avenue Mohammed V. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the Place El-Hedim. Once at the square, you'll see the entrance to the Medina on your right. Enter the Medina and take the first left onto Rue de la Liberté. Walk down this street for about 500 meters, and you will find signs that direct you to the Royal Stables. The stables will be located on your left.

    From the Bab Mansour gate, which is a famous landmark in Meknes, exit the gate and turn left onto Avenue de la Victoire. Walk straight for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with Avenue Mohammed V. Turn right and continue walking for another 400 meters. Look for the signs pointing towards the Royal Stables, and you will find it on your right side.

    If you are near the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, head south on Avenue Moulay Ismail. After about 300 meters, turn left onto Rue de la Kasbah.
