    If you are in the downtown area of Maputo, start at Praça da Independência. Head east on Avenida 25 de Setembro until you reach the intersection with Avenida Julius Nyerere. Turn left onto Avenida Julius Nyerere and continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by local shops and cafes. Continue straight until you reach the traffic circle at Praça dos Trabalhadores. From there, take the first exit onto Avenida da Marginal. Keep walking along the coast until you see the Museu de Historia Natural on your left, located at Travessia de Zambeze.
