    From the main entrance of Old Bagan, head northeast on the main road (Aye Yeik Thar Road) for about 500 meters. Look for the signs directing you towards the Maha Bodhi Phaya. You will pass several smaller temples on your left. Continue straight until you reach a junction; take a left turn at the junction onto a narrower path. After about 200 meters, you will see the Maha Bodhi Phaya on your right.

    If you're near the Old Bagan Archaeological Museum, you can rent a bicycle from one of the nearby rental shops. Once you have your bicycle, head south on the main road (Aye Yeik Thar Road) for about 1 kilometer. Turn right at the junction, then follow the path until you see the Maha Bodhi Phaya on your left.
