To reach the Floating Gardens of Inle Lake, start by heading to the nearest boat dock. If you're at Nyaung Shwe, simply walk towards the main boat jetty located along the canal. Once there, you can hire a long-tail boat. Make sure to negotiate the fare, which typically costs around 15,000 to 20,000 Kyat for a round trip. Ask the boatman to take you to the Floating Gardens; they are well-known and the boatmen are familiar with the route. The journey should take approximately 30 minutes, and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way!

Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Nyaung Shwe. Start by cycling south towards the village of Maing Thauk.
