If you are starting from Mandalay Hill, walk down to the main road (U Wisara Road) and head south towards the Mandalay Palace. From the Palace, take a left onto 26th Street and continue walking straight until you reach the junction with 80th Street. Turn right onto 80th Street and follow it until you reach the intersection with 27th Street. Here, you can catch a local bus heading towards Inn Wa. Make sure to confirm with the bus driver that they are going to Inn Wa. The bus ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Inn Wa, walk towards the direction of the main road and look for local signposts to Maha AungMye BomSan Monastery, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.

From central Mandalay, head to the Mandalay Central Bus Station. Look for buses labeled for Inn Wa (also known as Inwa). The bus fare is usually inexpensive, and the ride will take around 45 minutes. Upon arriving at Inn Wa, exit the bus and ask locals for directions to Maha AungMye BomSan Monastery, which is a well-known landmark. It's about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. You can also hire a bicycle or take a trishaw for a small fee to reach the monastery more comfortably.
