Walking
From the center of Pyay, head south on Pyay-Aunglan Road. Look for the landmark known as the Pyay Railway Station and walk towards it. Once you reach the station, continue on Pyay-Aunglan Road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs indicating the direction to Phaya Gyi Stupa. The stupa will be visible from the road, and you can walk directly to it.
Cycling
If you have access to a bicycle, rent one from a local shop in Pyay. Start at the central market and cycle south on Pyay-Aunglan Road. Pass the Pyay Railway Station, and continue straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Keep an eye out for directional signs to Phaya Gyi Stupa, which will be on your right side. There is a bike parking area near the stupa.
Trishaw
Find a trishaw (a three-wheeled bicycle taxi) in the central area of Pyay. Tell the driver you want to go to Phaya Gyi Stupa. The fare should be negotiated beforehand, but it typically costs around 2000-3000 kyats. The driver will take you down Pyay-Aunglan Road, and you will arrive at the stupa within 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.
