Getting There

• Public Bus

  If you are starting from downtown Yangon, head to the nearest bus stop. Look for bus number 50, which goes towards the eastern parts of the city. Board the bus and pay the fare (usually around 200 MMK). Once on the bus, keep an eye on the stops, and get off at the stop named 'Kyaik Ka San Pagoda'. From there, you will need to walk approximately 10 minutes towards the northwest. Follow the road signs, and you will eventually reach သံလမ်း မှတ်တိုင် (R5Q9+FM7).

• Taxi/Grab

  For a more comfortable ride, you can use a taxi or the Grab app. Simply input 'သံလမ်း မှတ်တိုင်' (R5Q9+FM7) as your destination. If you're unsure, you can also ask the driver to take you to the landmark by saying 'သံလမ်း မှတ်တိုင်' in Burmese. This option is more convenient, especially if you have luggage or are traveling in a group.

• Walking

  If you are nearby, you can walk to သံလမ်း မှတ်တိုင်. Start from the nearest landmark such as the Kyaik Ka San Pagoda. Head northwest on the main road. Keep walking straight, and you will notice the area getting more vibrant with local shops and eateries. After about a 10-minute walk, you will arrive at your destination. Make sure to check the local maps or ask locals for directions if you feel uncertain.

• Bicycle Rental

  For the adventurous, consider renting a bicycle from a nearby rental shop. You can find these shops near popular tourist areas. Once you have a bicycle, cycle towards the northern direction from downtown. Follow the road signs towards Kyaik Ka San Pagoda and then continue northwest for about 20 minutes. You will be able to spot သံလမ်း မှတ်တိုင် on your way.
