Walking
If you are starting from the city center, head towards Maha Bandula Road. From the City Hall, walk straight down Maha Bandula Road for about 10 minutes until you reach the junction with Sule Pagoda Road. Sule Pagoda will be visible ahead, a prominent gold stupa surrounded by bustling streets. You can also stop at the nearby Maha Bandula Park for a rest before continuing to the pagoda.
Public Transport (Bus)
Find a bus stop near your location and take any bus heading towards the city center. You should look for routes that mention 'Sule Pagoda' or 'Maha Bandula Road'. Ask the bus conductor to notify you when you reach Sule Pagoda. Once you get off, walk towards the junction of Sule Pagoda Road and Maha Bandula Road. The pagoda will be just a short walk ahead.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from your accommodation and navigate towards Maha Bandula Road. Cycle straight down Maha Bandula Road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Keep an eye out for the golden dome of Sule Pagoda as you approach the junction with Sule Pagoda Road. There are usually bike parking spots near the pagoda.
