Taxi
From any location in Omaruru, you can hail a taxi. Make sure to mention 'Erongo Plateau Camp' or show the driver the address: Farm Eileen, Erongo, Namibia Omaruru. The journey should take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Ensure that the taxi driver is familiar with the area, as it is located outside of the main town.
Bicycle Rental
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Omaruru. Start at the center of town and head south on the B1 road. After about 5 kilometers, turn right onto the C36 road. Continue for approximately 15 kilometers until you see signs for Erongo Plateau Camp. The ride will take about 1.5 to 2 hours, so be prepared with water and snacks.
Walking
Walking to Erongo Plateau Camp is quite a trek and not recommended for everyone due to the distance. If you still wish to proceed, start from the center of Omaruru and follow the B1 road south for about 5 kilometers. Then take a right onto the C36 road and continue for approximately 15 kilometers. It will take around 5 to 6 hours, so plan accordingly and ensure you have proper gear and supplies.
