Getting there

Walking

From the center of Usakos, head south on Main Street towards the railway line. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the B1 road. At the B1, turn left and walk along the road. After about 2 kilometers, look for the sign to Spitzkoppe on your right. Follow this gravel road for about 30 kilometers. The road may be rough, so take your time. You will see the stunning peaks of Spitzkoppe rising in the distance. Continue on this road until you reach the entrance to the Spitzkoppe area.

Bicycle

If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle in Usakos and start from Main Street. Ride south towards the B1 road. Once you reach the B1, make a left turn. Be cautious as this is a busy road. After 2 kilometers, look for the gravel road that leads to Spitzkoppe on your right. This path will take you through a beautiful landscape, but be prepared for some rough patches. Keep cycling straight on this road for about 30 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Spitzkoppe.

Public Transport

To reach Spitzkoppe via public transport, first take a taxi or local minibus from Usakos to Swakopmund. Once in Swakopmund, you can find tour operators or taxis that offer trips to Spitzkoppe. Inform the driver or operator that you want to go to Spitzkoppe. They will take you directly there, and you can enjoy the scenic views along the way.
