If you are in the central area of Walvis Bay, start by heading towards the waterfront. Make your way to the corner of Sam Nujoma Avenue and Lagoon Promenade Road. From there, you will follow Lagoon Promenade Road southbound. Continue walking along this road for approximately 2 kilometers, enjoying the views of the lagoon on your left. You will eventually arrive at Flamingo Lagoon, which is located directly along Lagoon Promenade Road. Look out for the large gathering of flamingos, which is a clear indication that you've reached your destination.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Walvis Bay. Begin your journey from the town center, heading towards the waterfront. Follow the same route as if you were walking, moving towards the intersection of Sam Nujoma Avenue and Lagoon Promenade Road. Once there, cycle along Lagoon Promenade Road southbound for about 2 kilometers. The lagoon will be on your left, and you will see the flamingos as you approach. The ride is pleasant and allows for easy stopping along the way to take photos.
