From the center of Walvis Bay, you can rent a bicycle at a local shop. Start by heading south on Nangolo Mbumba Drive until you reach the intersection with the B2 highway. Turn left to head east towards Swakopmund. Continue cycling along the B2 for about 7.5 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views of the Namib Desert on your right. Once you reach the turn-off for the Unnamed Road, turn right and follow this road straight for 2 kilometers until you see the beach on your left.

If you prefer walking, start from the Walvis Bay Waterfront. Head south along the beach promenade until you reach the intersection with Nangolo Mbumba Drive. Cross the road and continue walking south along the beach. After about 3 kilometers, you'll have a beautiful view of the Dune landscape. Continue walking for approximately another 4 kilometers, and you will reach the Unnamed Road. Turn left and walk another 2 kilometers, and you will find Vambo Beach.
