Walking
If you are starting from the Gorkha Durbar Square, head southwest towards Gorkha Bazaar. Walk along the main street, passing by local shops and eateries on your right. Continue straight until you reach the bus station at Gorkha Bazaar. Once at the bus station, look for a local bus or 'microbus' that is heading towards Manakamana. The fare is usually around 50 NPR. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride along the hills.
Bus
After the bus ride from Gorkha Bazaar, disembark at the Manakamana cable car station. From there, you will see signs for the cable car. Purchase your ticket at the counter; it costs around 1,100 NPR for a round trip. Once on the cable car, you'll have a breathtaking view of the hills and valleys. The ride takes approximately 10 minutes and will take you directly to Manakamana Temple.

Upon arriving at Manakamana Temple, you will find yourself at the entrance. From here, follow the path leading towards the temple. It is a short walk, approximately 5-10 minutes, and you will be surrounded by beautiful scenery. The temple is located on a hilltop, so be prepared for some steps.
